”We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Gonville. The hotel was excellent in every respect- beautiful decor, great restaurants and convenient parking. However, the outstanding aspect of the hotel was the wonderful staff. Every person we dealt with from the receptionists, to the barmen, to the housekeeper delivered perfect customer service. I’d especially like to thank Dante (?) the receptionist for taking care of us. Highly recommend The Gonville, Cambridge!”

”The Reception staff Cecile was excellent! Very polite and smiling. Very welcoming.
Also the Dining staff Certanina was excellent. Breakfast was super!
Both the above staff are an asset to the hotel.
Definitely coming again.”

”Mikäli halusit siivoojan käyvän, se olisi pitänyt pyytää aina erikseen. Oletimme että siivooja käy automaattisesti kuten useimmissa muissa hotelleissa. Lähtöaamuna tosin siivooja tuli hätyyttämään huoneesta pois n klo 10.30 ja kertoi, että aikaa on poistua 15 min. Vaikka uloskirjaus on klo 12 viimeistään. Muutoin hyvä hotelli ja lähellä kaikkea. Vastaanottotiski mielenkiintoinen mutta toimiva.”

”Small boutique hotel next to Cambridge city center with nice small rooms. A beautifull interior with arts around, but the young staff need still some more practise. Good breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant. The entry to the restaurant was from outside the hotel.”

”Erinomaista pysäköinti, ilmastointi ja aamiainen. Henkilökunta hyvin ystävällistä. Sijainti erinomainen, kävellen nähtävyyksiä katsomassa ja kaupoissa. Kännykän lataus helppoa. Kuivauspatteri hyvin tehokas. Jäimme vielä kolmanneksi yöksi ennalta varattujen lisäksi. ”

”We were given a room at the front of the pub, above the bar. The pub is on a busy road junction and so there is traffic noise! It was hot so we had the windows open, it was noisy, however, the windows are double glazed and there were ear plugs provided. There’s no air con but there were 2 fans in the room. There were also plug in radiators, hair dryer, iron, full size kettle and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. The room and bathroom were clean and well presented.
