”The room was clean but the lack of air conditioning really let it down. Although we stayed in a particularly warm spell, I imagine that it would be pretty uncomfortable a lot of the time. It was difficult to sleep due to the heat. The staff were really friendly but not particularly efficient in the Sports Bar. Many people were queuing for quite some time to get a drink. The vegetarian options in the Sports Bar were extremely limited. The option picked was awful but a refund was given without...

”I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!”

”We loved our mini-moon at The Spread Eagle. The staff were kind enough to upgrade our room, offer us some fizz on the house and gave us cutlery and plates so we could enjoy a bit more wedding cake. I'm sure you don't have to be freshly married to enjoy your time at the hotel, it is a lovely space, the staff were brilliant and the room was comfortable and clean. ”Beautiful location and property very nice but can't believe there is no lift / elevator in the building. Disappointing breakfast offering. Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities...

”Beautiful room and en-suite in a lodge with four others, tucked away at the back of the garden. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy.”

Ravintola ja ruokka on hyvä ja väki kohteliatta ja mukavia. Huulen heittoa toimii. Hissi ei ole mutta laukumme oli viettu huoneseen. Suositelemme.”
