”Legendary hotel with good location. Only negative was a billing policy. For example if you take drinks in the bar on room bill, you have to pay extra. Very strange practise. But hotel is nice and service was friendly and polite. Like a good old days.”

”Staff were very polite, however I was unaware we booked a hotel right next to a interstate and truck stop so it was very noisy. They provided ear plugs but...The breakfast was good. However, the carpet and flooring were filthy - when I got in the shower the shower floor was dark from the dirt on my feet. That is one thing that really puts me off about any hotel. ”

”Southern hospitality is alive and well in Memphis! Very friendly staff. Our room was well cleaned. The complimentary soap smelled really nice. We accidentally turned the thermostat down too much on the fridge. Lol. Breakfast was better than expected: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, granola bars, cereal, coffee and juice. So much value for the price. I would definitely stay here again. ”

"Our first impression of the hotel was positive as Eboni in the reception was just the sweetest! When we got into the room, it was a worn out but functional. No coffee machine thou. A lot of stains on the carpets and furnitures. There seems to be a lot of personnel, but nobody (apart from the receptionist) seemed to be busy or active. Breakfast was the biggest joke - there was no coffee and only limited types of food available after 9 AM. The second morning, coffee ran out already at 8:45. Same problem with the food. There is a lof of staff, but nobody seemed to be flexible with their assignments. This leads to the fact that there were several staff members hanging around but nobody was taking care of the breakfast. Maybe this is a HR issue, but very unfortunate."
