”We came to visit the Silver Lake Sand Dunes but we had more fun hanging out at the rental!! The property is in a wonderful location! A park right across the street, the beach 5 minutes away, and a mini market with ice cream on the corner. Our family made great use of the kayaks, tubes, cornhole, and horseshoes supplied by the host. We had such a fun time my son wanted to rebook for July 4th but it’s already reserved. ”

”The location to the beach is awesome. You can watch the sunset from the deck. Easy access with only a few steps to the beach. It was nice to have the option of a bonfire on the beach or deck. The stairs are as explained in the write up. It was nice to have the big table in the back room to play games and have the kids hang out.”

The location is unbeatable: just steps from the sand, with breathtaking ocean views from the deck.Every detail was thought of — from the fully stocked kitchen (we even found a blender for our morning smoothies) to the soft, hotel-quality linens. ”This was a nice large house perfect for a large group with plenty of room. It was clean and within a great location to hit the sand dunes! The only negative is that the listing states private pool and beach access within this community, however we never found it and there were no directions provided on how to get there. We would have liked to check it out. ”

”A really unique and cozy stay close to attractions, the dunes, and a small beach. The fireplace was a big draw for me in the listing so I was disappointed to read it wasn't functional but everything else was great. The stove didn't work but the owner offered to have it serviced while we were there or to bring over a toaster oven. She was very responsive and I'd stay there again for sure! The outdoor areas are superb and the beds were super comfy.”

”The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip!”

”The checkin process was easy and the place was very clean and accurate to listing. We were able to find everything that we needed easily. We had a great time in the kayaks and really enjoyed the outdoor shower (which was so great to not track sand and dirt everywhere!). Plenty of games to play and movies to watch. The kids each had their own areas and were very comfortable.”

”We loved our stay here. Was perfect for us two and our two dogs! They loved having plenty of space to play in. Grace, Alan, and Judy are some of the nicest people around! Amazing host always made sure we had supplies/necessities. 10/10 will come back next year! ”

”Great location close to the dunes and our favorite place to eat the chicken shack! Very clean and private woodsy area with plenty of parking for our toys. Kitchen had everything we needed and water pressure was great after a day at the beach. Spent alot of time around the fire pit and would definitely stay here again.”
