”Spa area is amazing. Pool perfect temp. Steam rioms, sauna and aromatherapy rooms wonderful. Jacuzzi, warm but the hydro beds were not working. Gym well equipped but old weight machines. Staff were excellent, welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Parking is excellent. Room was spacious, lean and tidy however, the ironing board and iron do need replacing as stained quite badly so unuseable. Easy to get into York as a bus stops almost outside and is only £2.50 single, takes approximately 20...

”Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. Would recommend as peaceful retreat for all to stay and enjoy local area with much to see and do. 10/10 to cocktail maker Alex.”

”Room was pretty cold (17 C) but heating unit helped a bit. Room was a little dirty but it was ok. Parking possibility for 10 GBP/night. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. Pretty old building - brought nice vintage feel but ventilation lacking. Friendly staff!”
