”A warm welcome and comfortable, clean, spacious room. The staff couldn't be more helpful and even though the kitchen was closed because I arrived late they were good enough to offer a plate and cutlery so I could grab a Chinese from the takeaway opposite. Honestly I couldn't have asked for anything better even at twice the price.”

”Low cost night and just what you would expect. Beds in our room were comfortable, tea and coffee provided and also body wash and hand wash in bathroom.”

”We have been visiting here for approximately two years. It is a delight to see a hard working family trying to improve bit by bit to make this into an excellent B&B / Hotel. Yes it is tired in parts, but always clean. Every time we visit we see improvements in decor and the facilities. It is clean, friendly and in a great location, i.e. close to a garage, pub, shop and tourist attractions. As long as the price stays right, we will continue to visit. Thank you and keep up the hard work.”

”The staircase and entrance were filthy but the room itself was clean. There was NO toilet paper whatsoever and only I small shower towel and 1 hand towel for 2 people. The bed was extremely soft. The welcome tray was suitably stocked. There was no one on reception to ask for toilet paper.”

”The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

”Fabulous stay. Lovely, spacious, spotless twin room with very clean, modern en suite. Everywhere is extremely clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and a fantastic outside area for sunny days. Staff very friendly and helpful. Generous meal portions and absolutely delicious! We joined in the quiz night and were even greeted warmly (and helped!) by the locals. We will definitely be staying again!”

”Fun place, old and stylish. Needs a lot of maintenance but if it gets that it will be amazing. Beds needs to be replaced, mattresses are way too old, Bar should update its ciders, only two brands now... and main thing: water pressure!!! Awful, awful... totally non-existing... taking a shower was so uncomfortable and thankfully we didn’t have long hair. There is absolutely no pressure, not at all. That would be a reason not to stay again next time. Staff was very friendly and free parking is a...

”We arrived at the hotel, had a problem with one of the keys to the property, rang a number , told the person on the end of the phone, we couldn't get back into the property with the main key, just wanted the code for the master key, so we could actually enter the property,from when we got back from our day/nite out in Nottingham, but the person on the end of the phone hung up on me.lucky for us we had a key which we could open the patio doors so we could get in that way, we've stayed at this...
