Welcome to our Creekside Cabin — a retreat where Bailey Creek flows year-round right through the backyard. This is the kind of place where the sound of moving water sets the pace for the whole trip.
Lassen Volcanic National Park's North Entrance is just 9 miles away, but the property itself gives you plenty of reasons to stay put. The three-level deck stretches over the creek with a sofa set for lounging and an outdoor dining table perfect for long family meals. When evening comes, gather at the waterside fire pit on the large log bench and watch the stars come out.
The cabin sleeps 8 comfortably across two bedrooms and a spacious designer loft — well suited for larger families or multigenerational groups. The kitchen is set up for serious cooking, with more than enough space and amenities to feed a full house without anyone feeling squeezed.
For anglers in the group, Hat Creek's legendary fly-fishing is a short drive away. Burney Falls and the Northern California Waterfall Loop are about an hour out — a perfect day trip for the family. When you're ready for Lassen, the North Entrance puts you inside the park in minutes.
Starlink Internet keeps everyone connected, and a Level 2 EV charger is ready in the garage. Come for the park, stay for the creek.

**OTHER THINGS TO NOTE**
Security Cameras:
Please note we have two exterior cameras for security purposes - one in front of the garage facing the driveway and one on the side of the garage facing the driveway and part of the side yard.
Drinking Water:
Our well water tastes great. We have a whole house filter and there is a second filter in the fridge. Please bring your reusable water bottles and save money and our planet from plastics. Thanks!
Internet:
With Starlink Internet, you can combine work and play. On average we get 300MBPS down / 100MBPS up which is great for Zoom calls for your whole group.
Electric Vehicle Charging (Additional Cost):
We have a level 2 EV charger in the garage for an additional cost. We will let you know exactly how much you used during your stay and charge you what the power company will charge us for KWH used at the end of your trip. Tesla owners, don’t forget to get your J1772 adapter!
Winter Driving AWD/4WD:
In winter, typically November through April, you should plan to travel to our home in a 4WD/AWD Although we try to keep the short drive from the highway to our home plowed in winter, it’s often icy and snowed in right after winter storms. We do not accept last minute cancellations or changes to the reservation for not being able to reach our home in a 2WD vehicle.
Heating:
We have Mitsubishi Heat Pump in the living area and the downstairs bedrooms. The loft gets toasty from the heater in the living room. There's also a backup whole house kerosene heater in the living room in case of power outages.
Cooling:
Although our heat pump can keep you cool on hot days in summer, we are at 4500 ft, among dense 100+ foot trees and next to a creek. The house is naturally pleasant all summer and never gets above 80F anytime of the day.
