”The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. ”

”An overnight stay for my wife and self, a proper pub in a village with decent food and warm exceptionally clean accommodation. Beer was good and locals were friendly, as were the staff, parking in the village square 50 yards from the premises. What's not to like . ”

”This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion. Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

”Fantastic retreat, off the beaten track but worth it if you are after a quiet stay. The hosts were excellent, lots of communication and available to help if you need anything. ”

The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!”
