”Lovely cottage but not where Expedia show it in the town centre. Longden common is nice and the red lion pub just down the road is a good place to eat. Stairs a very steep so something to be aware of not mentioned in details about the rental. ”

”Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com”

”The bedrooms have no windows. The single beds bedroom has a smell of drains. There was a wedding on so the restaurant was not open to us but this was only communicated on arrival when I asked about it. The grounds are lovely with pleasant walks which we really enjoyed .The dishwasher was not working and there was nothing available, eg milk, oil for cooking etc. for a one night stay id expect some basic cooking things. The smoke alarm was running out of battery (beeping in the early morning) and...
