”The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. ”

Was a little disappointed to be charged for parking, this seemed a little unnecessary given the location and felt like just a way to extract more money from guests. Given the location almost all guests would have to have driven so it would be clearer to include the full costs in one hotel price than have hidden costs as soon as you arrive. ”

”Nice and cosy inn at a very calm area. We made the booking just minutes before but it was no problem. A warm welcome and delicious dinner. Extra points for using such local ingredients. Also a well equipped bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean and had all the needed. Maybe a bit worn out and the bed was quite squeeky. However we had a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Especially great was the possibility for glutenfree breakfast. We would definately stay here...

”This is a cheap hotel in the middle of sheerness. No it’s not five star but service was excellent. Can’t remember the last time a staff member showed you to the room. Would definitely stay again. ”
