Ihana huoneisto Sienan sydämessä: Piazza del Campo | Giorgin palatsi

Huoneisto sijaitsee Giorgin omistaman rakennuksen kolmannessa kerroksessa - varustettuna hissillä - suunnilleen Casato-käyrän yläpuolella ja koostuu kahdesta makuuhuoneesta (yksi parivuode ja toisessa kaksi erillistä vuodetta, jotka voidaan tarvittaessa yhdistää toisiinsa) king-size-vuode), keittiö, ruokasali, kaksi kylpyhuonetta.
Huoneistossa on kolme ikkunaa (kaksi ruokasalissa ja yksi makuuhuoneessa), joista on näkymät upeaan Piazzaan, ja se on varustettu kaikilla mukavuuksilla: takka, lämmitys, ilmastointi, WiFi, Philips 50-tuumainen Smart Led TV, CD-soitin ja telakka, minibaari, Nespresso-kahvinkeitin, vedenkeitin, sentrifugi, leivänpaahdin, astianpesukone, pesukone-kuivausrumpu, tallelokero, hiustenkuivaaja. Huoneisto on uusittu viime kuukausina, ja se on täysin sisustettu suunnittelijakappaleilla.
Huoneistossa on pysyvä näyttely Claudio Maccarin perustamasta nykytaiteen teoksista, jota täydennetään uusilla teoksilla kahden kolmen kuukauden välein. Jokainen näytössä oleva pala on myynnissä.

This was the best place my wife and I have stayed in our travels. Rosella was a very friendly and helpful host who communicated with us very well throughout our three day trip to Siena. The living room and main bedroom have windows that open up to the beautiful Piazza below. Rosella gave us a great list of recommendations. We went to Pizzicheria de Miccoli for a custom made charcuterie and loved it.We recommend this place couples or family with small children as there is a 2nd bedroom with two single beds. Thank you Rosella!

This is a very special apartment. You are right on Piazza del Campo, with an incredible view of the best piazza in Italy. Plus it perfectly located with major sights and a variety of restaurants within a short walk. The apartment is spacious and filled with contemporary art. The kitchen is well appointed. Property manager Rosella promptly addressed any questions or issues, and provided advice on restaurants and unique experiences like the Wednesday market near the Fort. You will love your Siena experience with this apartment as your base.

Excellent in every way!

This location is excellent - just above and with stunning views of the Campo and close to everything. Beds were comfortable too! Bonus is the washer/dryer that helped us for the second half of our Italian adventure. Thank you Rosella!

Overlooking the Campo in Siena at Night ✨

It was a real treat for us to be able to experience one of our favorite cities in the world at night. In the past we’ve been limited to daytime visits. The apartment was very comfortable but on a holiday weekend, watch out. It can be very noisy in the Campo. My only suggestion for improvement would be more lighting in the living room. We are delighted with having been able to stay.

Sensational Siena Stay!

We so enjoyed our stay in this apartment, which has stunning views of the lively Piazza del Campo and the activities there. Communication was excellent with Rossella while planning our stay, and she arranged for our rental car parking (which was quite a convenience). The internet functioned well, and the beds and furniture were comfortable. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Amazing

The VRBO was exactly as described. No issues. The access to the 3rd floor unit was enhanced by the elevator. The beautiful view from our windows of the Piazza all Campo made for the most enjoyable experience while sipping on our espresso in the morning and Chianti in the evening.

Fine, but not great

The host is very nice, but overall, the experience wasn’t great. First the positives: the apartment is spacious, located right in the Piazza, and has comfortable bed and hot showers. However, it lacked a lot of basic conveniences. There were no hooks or racks for towels in the bathroom, barely any clothesline to hang clothes to dry and insufficient clothespins, no dresser or closet in the master bedroom, empty soap bottle in the second bathroom. The smart function on the TV didn’t work, which is a small issue, but it should have been fixed within a day and after 7 it still wasn’t. My daughter ripped her foot open on a screw protruding from the threshold of her bedroom. The location is awesome but if you’re a light sleeper, beware, as there is often a lot of yelling in the piazza and in the side alley especially at night. For some, these might not be an issue, but others may want to take these into account when deciding where to stay in Siena.

Perfect Stay

We were met by Rossella personally when we got to the apartment. Communication was awesome during the entire process. The apartment is just as advertised. The property looks directly over the Campo. Photos of the property look great but to see it with your own eyes will really make you happy about your decision to book this apartment. The place is really big and very clean. Location can’t be beat because you are within 5 to 10 minute walk to great restaurants, Cafe’s, shops and of course Gelato right around the corner. If you are lucky enough to book the apartment do it. You will not be disappointed.

Location Location, Location!

This apartment suited us perfectly! It’s on the Campo and offers a splendid view from both the living room and the primary bedroom. It is spacious and comfortable and very well maintained. The owner, Rosella, was helpful and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Two important things to note: 1. there are 58 steps to the apartment, but it also has a small elevator that makes it easier for anyone not able to make the climb 2. the second bathroom has a very small shower and sink - but is still manageable! This was our second stay - and I hope for a third in the future!

Luxurious & Spacious apartment right above Piazza del Campo!

We couldn't have imaged a more perfect apartment overlooking the main public space of the historic city of Siena. Spacious and airy, immaculate and art-filled , impeccably furnished. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spacious with plenty of hot water. We prepared meals in the well appointed and stocked kitchen. What a joy to walk just down to the Piazza in the evenings for an Aperitif. The windows overlooking the Palazzo Pubblico afforded us the opportunity to see several wedding parties and watch the local parades with drumming and singing as the winning neighborhood of the Palio celebrated their victory. If we ever go back to Siena, we will stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful apartment and great location!

Perfect location overlooking Il Campo. The apartment is large and well decorated. The description is not clear that the bathrooms are not en suite to the bedrooms, but that was not a problem for us and bathrobes are provided. While the description indicates a washer and dryer, we could only find a washer and were told by the person who greeted us that there was no clothes dryer. There is however a clothes line outside the kitchen window.

Gorgeous condo with wonderful host

Traveling to a foreign country is not something we do often and so we had some reservations about using an online booking service for this beautiful place. I am happy to report that the condo was gorgeous and the hostess was perfect. She was available(upstairs) but not at all in the way. The beds were comfy and the view.. perfecto!! There is a steep hill as you approach the property(like most of Siena) which may pose a problem for some. Inside there is a lift which is helpful as the condo is on the third floor. Bathrooms were a little challenge but that is part of the Italian experience. Siena is a wonderful city and Rosella a perfect host. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable . She even took care of booking taxis for us.If I ever make it back I would definitely book this condo again. It was the nicest place we stayed in all of Italy!

Huge, beautiful apartment

This was a clean, huge apartment right on the campo. There were only two of us, but we loved the location of the apartment. We stayed four nights and could easily have stayed for another four. Rosella was charming and helpful. She helped us with many great dinner reservations, transportation and answered all of our questions regarding the apartment. Whenever we return to Siena, this will be our home base.
