”Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean ,fresh and perfect for a short or long stay IMO. A/C worked great and the heat did too. Plenty of hot water. Microwave and small fridge with a freezer kept our freezer packs frozen. We would not hesitate to book again ! A very easy walk to the town center of Bar Harbor and the Island Express Buses to get around the island for FREE. The buses take you into and all over Acadia National Park. Lines can get long..”

”Our stay at Bar Harbor Condo was wonderful. It was everything we wanted and more. Safe location, Clean, comfortable, FABULOUS location, & a great parking spot. We walked everywhere in town - dinner, Bar Harbor Island at low tide, the pier for our Sunset Cruise, shopping, etc. There is a grocery store and convenience store right down the street too. And the entrance to Acadia is minutes away. So convenient and CUTE!! We had a great time on our 3 generation girls trip! The hosts responded to all...

”Beautiful inn on the water. Walkable to all of Bar Harbor. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a gas fireplace, which was perfectly cozy after a chilly day of hiking and exploring BH. Wonderful hosts. Delicious breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again!”

”We loved our stay at Chiltern and would return. Dan welcomed us with wine,cheese, and song. He was quite helpful directing us throughout town as well as on our hikes at Acadia. Bar Harbor is a lovely town. We enjoyed the ocean side walk as well as lunch at The Terrace. It was nice to meet the other travelers and enjoy breakfast Only con for us was the heat in the bathroom. We also thought room would be cleaned as we stayed 2 nights but maybe that was a miscommunication. We recomend staying...

”This place has it all. The Inn is charming. The gourmet breakfast was a delight. The location by the water, shops and restaurants couldn't be better. The staff were so attentive and friendly to everyone. I felt pampered and spoiled and would highly recommend this place to everyone.”

”We stayed here due to cancelled flights, it’s a lovely property in the middle of Bar Harbor with lots of walkable areas to explore. Their front lawn is a popular gatherings spots for drinks and live music. Only issues was they wanted to kick our friends out of the lawn if they didn’t order a drink and the free breakfast is just muffins and juice.”

”The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. ”

”We love the staff at the property!!! Michelle at the front desk made us feel like part of the family. She made sure our every needs were fulfilled and always went out of her way to help us. Dannette is the encyclopedia of the area. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding harbors and we loved all the places off the beaten path she recommended. We normally wouldn’t stay at a motel, but we had a hard time to say goodbye at Anchorage Motel!”

”We rented the cottage for my daughter’s wedding weekend. It was perfect with 4 bedrooms and two baths. It was very clean as well. So glad we rented it. Very walkable.”

”Easy walking distance from the heart of town but in a alightly quieter spot. They had free snacks, brownies and lemonade most days. The muffins at their breakfasts were a little stale, but otherwise it was pretty good for a Continental style. Staff was extremely friendly and competent. Very clean and spacious room (double queen). They did run out of hot water one day when we waited until mid morning to shower but it was still lukewarm at least.”

”I expected a better place for the amount of money we paid per night but I guess Bar Harbor is a very expensive destination. The room was ok. The shower head was broken and there was no hair dryer. Both issues were taken care right away. It was nice that they offered complementary snacks and drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Easy 10’ walk to restaurants and waterfront”
