”The property was clean and the deluxe room spacious. It was basic but clean. The pillows marginal but bed comfortable. The outdoor seating area was very small but good for a quick meal outside for a group of 2-4. We did not use the pool area. The ice machine was working and helpful. The coffee situation was only in the room in a mini pot without a decaf option. There is no breakfast option. Walking within 2 blocks of several restaurants and shops. Was tourist area pricing ( high) for amenities.”

”If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. ”

”Shower handle was broken off. Cobwebs in bathroom corners. Water was plumbed backwards on sink. Hot Water took many minutes to reach room. Font desk was only staffed 9am - 9pm.”

”We booked our stay at this hotel and found it to be in a great location for shopping and eating. The real issue is the facilities are outdated and the place needs to be renovated. Our toilet was not mounted properly, the wall paper was poorly maintained and the overall decor of the room was extremely dated. The beach access was nice, but there needs to be better maintenance of the area and lounge chairs on the beach. We will not be staying here again in the future, unless they put some money...

”Good location for walking to downtown and to the ferries. Mediocre hotel. One of our 2 rooms was not ready until 45 minutes after check-in--despite the receptionist calling me on my cell to tell me that the room was ready. Upon arriving back at the hotel, after leaving an enjoyable dinner at a restaurant because of this phone call, we were told that she called us "by mistake." The room was not ready. ”Hot tub and pool were nice. Out TV sound was broken, but staff brought a new TV for us and responded right away. Jackie was friendly and helpful. Don't order through Expedia though, it's way more expensive than going through the hotel directly!!”

”Lots of noise from dog and guests. Beds were fine. Breakfast was free but sparse.”

”Clean and cozy! Loved the vibe inside, plus totally walkable to the main strip, Shepler’s ferry, and any of the local restaurants. Check-in/out was remote too, no hassle or worry at any point. Price is super fair for a simple little place to stay!”

”Old motor lodge that has been updated. Its clean, basic motel. Tight.parking but plenty of it. Pool and hot tub worked as promised. Friendly dog at the desk too!”

”Room was very clean except for Mayflies. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor above the lobby. I am handicapped and there was 2 handicapped parking spots both taken before we got there so lots of walking /steps or crossing a full parking lot to get to lobby, breakfast or our hotel room. Location was great for Sheplers ferry, views of Lake Huron , fireworks, restaurants ect.”

”The cleanest, best breakfast and most comfortable beds and pillows of our entire trip thus far. This was our 3rd time at this place and it is always wonderful”

”The rooms are very dated but were clean enough. There was no breakfast as advertised. Both of our pools were empty but we were told we could use the one next door. If you want a warm shower you better get up early, otherwise you get a cold shower. We did have free access to the water parks in the area, which was nice. The price and location were great.”

”Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.”
