”The convenience of being close to the event center wasn't worth the price of the stay. Double the price of other top rated Topeka hotels, rooms are clean but very outdated, wallpaper peeling off walls, bathtub old/stained. The rooms all being open to the center bar area makes it very noisy, paper thin walls, you could hear everything. The breakfast buffet was $12/person, and it had the same choices that every other hotel offers complementary. Very cool courtyard, but not worth it, wouldn't stay...

”This was the best hotel of my recent week-long road trip across the country. It was clean, as Holiday Inns consistently are. I appreciated the larger sized refrigerator with a freezer section in the room and the included toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. ”Breakfast was less than average and very expensive for counter service. Don't call it granola if all you do is break up a commercial granola bar. Oatmeal was poorly cooked and unexplainably expensive. Shower, on the other hand, was outstanding, but hallway inside room is too narrow to bring the luggage cart in. Also lighting in bathroom and sleep area is very weak and not useful. ”
