”Had a lovely welcome by the family on arrival. Shown to our room which was beautiful, a real room with a view. Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing. Full of flavour and lots of it. Slept like a log, followed by a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Will definitely be returning very soon ”

”This is a lovely, well kept hotel. The room, though on the smaller size was immaculately clean and the shower good. The breakfast was enormous and very, very good. Overall, excellent value for money. ”

”We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

”Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival.”

”Great location as a base to walk the coastal path /connections. The staff were so lovely and helpful I couldn't fault them. It was great to have a bath in the room, a rarity in a stay like this and very welcome after a hard day's walking(!). I ate every night here and the food was typical pub fayre- which is to say good value, and the steak was perfectly done. Good selection of smart tv stations on a big tv too, thanks for a great stay :)”
