” Very nice, all positive, with one critique…getting down the steps to the porch was treacherous for 2 older ladies coming in after dark and hauling coolers and suitcases. Don’t know if there are rules out there about lighting, but a little more illumination would be helpful. Steps are a bit awkward, not a natural feel, know what I mean? Thanks so much. I would for sure rent again.”

”We loved this cabin near Marion. It’s a short drive away from being right downtown so the location is great. We had some cold weather and it stayed very warm inside. There were meant great items supplied to make us feel right at home and we really enjoyed the rustic decor and quiet surroundings. Highly recommended!”

”Great little place we'll out off the way for a quiet long weekend. 35 minutes to either Hillsville or Mount Airey. The pups loved the long walks around the neighborhood and to the creek on the back end of the property. The deer are not intimidated and bountiful. Be vigilant. We go to Hillsville every year. We will definitely stay here again.”

”Very clean, comfortable, quiet - host very communicative. This was exactly what we needed to serve as a landing spot for our weekend visiting Virginia Tech. Truly appreciated all of the little extras - water bottles and fresh eggs in the fridge, USB ports in the outlets, plenty of towels, fresh baked sweet bread treat and a nice note from the owners. Will absolutely look here next time we are coming down to Blacksburg! ”

”The cottage is very cute, cozy and clean.While it is located in a very idyllic setting, it is a little removed from amenities like stores and restaurants.That being said, we still enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Our dog definitely loved it, too!”
