Chalet/vacation home for families and dogs in North Holland by the sea!

Hello,
We’re renting out our vacation home/chalet in the beautiful Park Campanula in Sint Martenszee—right by the sea, in a wonderful location in North Holland between Alkmaar and Texel. The house can accommodate four people—there’s also a pull-out couch in the living room in case you want to split up or have a guest stay over. Dogs are also welcome—there’s even a dedicated dog beach!

Here are some additional details:

1. The location:
It’s just under 15 minutes by bike to the beach (a little over 2 kilometers). We have four bikes on site that you’re welcome to use. You can also rent (e-)bikes in the park. There are lovely beach restaurants on the beach—the beach itself has been voted one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands several times, stretches all the way up to Texel, and is very wide. There’s parking at the beach, and from there you can also take a minibus through the dunes to the beach. We also recommend the beach in Petten, which is even closer by car (5 km from the house).

2. The Park:
There are bungalows and chalets, playgrounds, a soccer field, a swimming pool with a sauna, two tennis courts, a mini-golf course, and bike rentals… Admission to the swimming pool is included in your booking! There are washing machines and dryers at the front desk. You’ll be given access to the gate so you can drive up to the chalet (house number 118) and unload—the nearest parking spots are 200 meters away. (www.bungalowparkcampanula.de)

3. The Chalet/Amenities:
The large bedroom features a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m) with two very comfortable mattresses, a large wardrobe, and a stylish Bowie print.
The smaller bedroom is perfect for two children. The Hemnes bed can be extended to 1.60 m x 2.00 m with two mattresses or used on its own. Next to the bed is a freestanding wardrobe, and there’s a Banksy hanging on the wall ;)
The bathroom is small but nice, with a mirror cabinet and a new shower.
The living room has a cozy sleeper sofa that can sleep two people if needed. Here you’ll find a smart TV and can log in to Netflix and other streaming services—Wi-Fi is available for a small fee at the park (3.50 euros per day) at the front desk. In the living room, you’ll also find several board games, a Super Nintendo with games, and a stereo system.


The dining area features a large table with a bench and two chairs. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a portable stovetop, a coffee maker, and everything you need in terms of dishes, silverware, and glasses. The refrigerator with a freezer compartment is in the pantry, where you’ll find additional storage space as well as a bread slicer and a toaster. There’s also an electric grill there; a charcoal grill is located outside in the shed. We also recently purchased a new gas grill!

The chalet is situated on a fenced-in corner lot with a patio and a small garden. In the shed, you’ll find four bicycles, as well as tennis rackets, Viking chess, and a soccer ball.
