”The property is in an excellent location right in the heart of the old town and it was maintained to the highest level (just as you see them in the photos). It truly felt like a luxurious room/suite and the only thing about it that you could comment on was that the aircon made a bit of a strange noise but other than that it was pretty perfect. Whilst it didn't affect us, the building in which we stayed doesn't have a lift. Would stay again.”

”This was an excellent choice for our stay in Dubrovnik. Room was just as was described, bus stop to old town was in a very short distance, beach and supermarket were close. But the best thing was the owner! His kindness and helpfulness were just amazing! We got sandwiches and drinks when we arrived late, he drove us to the old town once, gave lots of good tips and brought us a huge watermelon sliced. An excellent stay!”

”We spent 4 nights at the hotel. The staff was warm and we had a great time. The room was beautiful and cozy. We stayed on the 3rd floor. We were nervous in advance how we would handle the stairs, because there are a lot of them in the old town and we were warned about them, but we didn't find the stairs to be a problem. We were offered a bag service to the room, which I'm sure is useful for some, but my husband carried both of our bags. We were able to store our luggage at the reception...

”This is an older, small apartment building, not a hotel, right in the center of the old town. The apartment is small, clean, minimally furnished with no amenities. The staff is very warm and helpful, but the unit is adequate at best. The big drawback is the noise, late into the night, due to its adjacency to the main street of Dubrovnik (the Stradun). I'm frankly unclear what justifies its 4 star rating and associated cost. I would recommend finding an alternative near the old town but not...
