”Overall, a great lodging in the heart of a quaint community. It was just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and a grocery. (BTW, if you arrive late, like we did shortly after 8, either quickly make to a restaurant–most close their kitchens by 8:30–or do what we did, go down the street toward the grocery near the water's edge and pick up things you can cook). ”This was the perfect spot for our exploration of Isle of Skye. The cottage was exactly as pictured, the bed comfortable, the view impeccable,and the hosts lovely. They met us on arrival to show us some things in the house and gave us fresh bed an homemade jam. They were very responsive to questions. We could not have asked for a better stay and I hope we can return some day!”

”The property was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. Check in was easy and seamless. We did have an issue with the oven not working so it would have been useful to have some sort of manual for the property. Perhaps we just didn’t see it. Overall a great experience. ”

"The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. Also, the dinner service ended quite early and the menu did not have enough suitable options for seafood allergics/vegetarians. "
