”I have traveled quite a bit and I feel lucky my wife and I were able to stay here. The place is simply amazing. If you are able to travel to Isle of Skye, this place helped make the entire experience a 10 out of 10.”

”It was hard to find staff, especially for lunch. Our room was down a weird warren of hallways up steps and down steps. The room and bathroom were attractive. The pillows were awful! They wouldn’t fluff. It was a heatwave when we were there. The cleaning staff left the heater on. I was hot and couldn’t sleep. There wasn’t a fan to help move the air. Dinner was expensive and bland. The shower was difficult to get in and out of.There were no extras in the bathroom you would expect from the price...

”Nearly £500 a night, but a complete lack of hospitality We stayed for one night at Hotel Eilean Iarmain, paying £496.57 for our suite and breakfast. While the setting is beautiful, the service and management response were completely unacceptable for a hotel at this luxury price point. At dinner (which was not included in the room rate), my wife's bread for her bouillabaisse was served burnt. By the time it was replaced she had finished the dish, had she waited it would have gone completely...

”Extremely noisy so you will hear every sound from corridor or other rooms. Full of pensioners and sleeping is hard after 5am when they start to take showers. The room was super small (about 6 m2) and stuffy. This hotel was stylish perhaps in 70's.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at the Skeabost! The bartender, check in staff and wait staff were all very friendly! The view is magnificent and we walked all around the property after breakfast. Babbling brook, abandoned medieval ruins and a 9 hole golf course that is no longer in use. We loved our stay!”
