”We loved our time in Portree! This house worked very well for 3 families (two sets of grandparents stayed in the room upstairs and parents and two teenagers in the rooms downstairs). We made good use of the kitchen, played many games at the table, and loved the view and location! The house is a very short walk from town. ”Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

"The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. Also, the dinner service ended quite early and the menu did not have enough suitable options for seafood allergics/vegetarians. "
