”I gave this listing one star not because it was terrible. We, in fact, did not stay there. On the day we were to arrive the air quality was 'very unhealthy' and the community was on an a 'Ready' alert for evacuation. The Akawa Butte fire was five miles north and was now the priority resource fire in the country. The second day we would have been there, they evacuated two thousand residents. We decided the last thing this community needed was two more tourists to suck up valuable resources...

”There were a bunch of bats flying around and then found dead bats in the room in the morning. We got very sick, and got rabies shots to be safe, it was also a remodeled garage which was misleading from the main photos that were shown on the website.”

”We had to cancel after entering the loft and finding only one bed instead of the 3 beds listed on the website. On calling the listed number “Vanessa” with Family Time Vacation Rentals in Utah (the loft is in Oregon) refused to believe me and repeatedly claimed there were “floor mats” which wasn’t true, not that mats on a cement floor was going to be a satisfactory replacement for the promised twin beds. ”Only good thoughts, large enough for 2 adults only. Great location to all things Bend. Super clean everything, all amenities great, on very quiet street, a small park across the street. Communication excellent. Thank you for excellent lodging.”

”It was a large expansive property with lots of amenities. But you had to drive or walk quite a bit to get around the resort. Not a problem unless you're disabled or unable to walk. When making a reservation we weren't given the option to book a Riverfront room or a parking lot View room. There was no delineation of rooms. So when we got there we had a parking lot room. ”The space is clean and well decorated, it feels homey without being cluttered. There are upstairs neighbors, and the noise they generated at times was loud and took away from the overall experience. ”Nice residential neighborhood located on the back side of a home. Unit was clean and convenient. However, no temperature control in the unit since it appears to be a single unit within the home on the other side of the door. Too cold with the cool air blowing all night the first night. ”It was nice to have the river outside the deck. The property has some updates, but still looks like an older property. We enjoyed the restaurant, it was nice to sit outside on the beautiful patio. When checking in you need to provide a credit card for incidentals, which is fine. We found out we were billed 195 after check out. Thank goodness I checked my credit card statement. Communication with the management company was good but it did take 3 weeks to get that money credited back. Just make...
