âNice location (quite remote and quiet) and friendly staff. Some gaps in the breakfast service, e.g. lacking glasses, plates etc. And the breakfast ended already at 9 which was very early for me. The condition of the hotel was quite worn-out and occasionally dirty, there were several spiderwebs and spiders in the hallway and the smell of our room was musty. â

âThe hotel is well located for City Centre and onward travel to Scotland or North East. The rooms were lovely, warm and comfortable. Nice bedding and towels. Everything seemed new. The staff at reception and breakfast were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and topped up regularly. Gluten free cereal available. â

âLovely hotel and staff, pool very nice.
Room disappointing.
Building works going on throughout the hotel which wasnât made clear at booking.
We were in a âfamily roomâ which was essentially a meeting room converted on the ground floor. The only radiator in such a large room was around half a meter from my head when in bed, the chosen location very uncomfortable and I therefore did not sleep well at all.
Shower tray flooded easily which was annoying.
