”The hotel was super clean and the room was very tidy and pretty modern. All the staff were lovely. Very nice to get free parking and breakfast. The only let down was the food in the evening. Paid quite a lot of money for three steaks and they were pretty poor quality and definitely not worth the money. The beds were quite soft which I'm not used to but still had a great night's sleep either way. I'll definitely look to stay here again though the next time we're down as it's in such a great...

”The tranquil setting and gorgeous building felt very special. We also enjoyed the gourmet breakfast that started the day . My only observation is that the Arts & Crafts building offers an opportunity to enhance that throughout rather than what is on the walls now, and feels like generic hotel decor that could be found anywhere. The priory is special, and that could be enhanced.”

I needed lactose-free milk for breakfast, and they actually went out to get it and had it back within minutes — such a thoughtful touch! "Check-in required a call to a telephone number, which, for a foreigner, was a bit complicated. The room was okay, surprisingly spacious, although rather minimally decorated. The bathroom was okay but the shower very confined. The breakfast was adequate but was lacking products with protein; eggs and deli meats would be a necessary addition. Parking was good and easy."
