”We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

”The staff and both mangers were great really friendly and helpful but the room number although clean killed my ocd with the telly on the leaning to one side wallpaper pealing respairs to the wall not even rubbed down and painted carpets need to go in a skip and the bed if I’m honest the food and the beer was outstanding as well as the staff so they made the break away not the room if your listening head office spend a few bob !!”

”The cottage is lovely and comfortable and well equipped for a family of 4. The small holding that it was on is located in a nice little village with a great pub a couple of doors away. The children loved having the alpacas close by and would go and visit them every morning. Beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and powerful. We would definitely stop again if we were visiting the local area. ”

"Check-in required a call to a telephone number, which, for a foreigner, was a bit complicated. The room was okay, surprisingly spacious, although rather minimally decorated. The bathroom was okay but the shower very confined. The breakfast was adequate but was lacking products with protein; eggs and deli meats would be a necessary addition. Parking was good and easy."
