From the moment we arrived our host Pam made us more than welcome even allowing us to take part in their Burns night that they had on that evening . If you’re visiting this area and are lucky enough to get a room this has got to be the best place to stay .”

”This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

”We travelled with our adult son to hike in the nearby Eryri National Park. The owner greeted us upon arrival and very thoughtfully upgraded our rooms! Lola, the dog, was so friendly and extremely well behaved. The place is beautifully and freshly decorated. The two bedrooms we saw were unique, comfortable and well equipped. The evening after our hike we had a beer in the bar which was newly opened. Breakfast is a lovely - a continental buffet and choice of hot entrees including a half...

”A new build block of rooms in quiet Farm yard location, a very comfortable king size bed, very clean and a great rainfall shower. Fab English Breakfast (Not Greasy) in the Cafe on the adjoining camp site, including a tasty Vegetarian option. I will be looking at booking a Lodge/Cabin for a family break on my next visit. ”

Miinuksena se, että lämmintä vettä ei ollut ollenkaan saatavilla ja sisäänpääsy oli vähän hankalaa. Muutamaa tuntia ennen kirjautumista oli lähetetty ovikoodit sähköpostilla, mutta eihän puhelinkenttää ollut kunnollista lähimaillakaan, joten avaimen nouto oli sitten sen varassa, että joku muu kulki ulko-oven kautta.”

”Things we liked were the decorative wood panels everywhere. Some very intricate and interesting pieces. Rooms are all different, so check the pictures. Then check with the hotel that you have the right room, as they're named not numbered. This is because Expedia have the wrong names matched to the rooms, as we found out on arrival! ”
