”I stay at the Glendale regularly to visit my daughter and granddaughter who live nearby. It is a lovely hotel above an Italian restaurant with very convenient access to Penarth train station with regular trains into nearby Cardiff.
It has both single and double size rooms and I usually choose a single. The rooms are well appointed with rather basic shower facilities, tea & coffee etc. a very nice full cooked English breakfast is available (extra) and of course there is the very convenient...

”Brief one night stay whilst we attended a concert. Brilliant location - 5 minute walk to stadium! Great pub 30 seconds away! Rooms aren’t en- suite but there are plenty of bathroom facilities in the property it wasn’t an issue. Nice basic breakfast available in the morning which was plenty of choice available.”

”We stayed for 1 night. Staff and hotel were excellent, the kids bed was a bit small and uncomfortable for a 10 year old but the overalll stay was great and food was lovely in the restaurant. We didn’t get to try breakfast unfortunately as we had to leave at 7.30am and breakfast didn’t start till 8am”
”Il start with the bad bit.i waz travelling on my own & was very tired & hot i had booked this hotel because it said it had free parking. After driving around in circles for 20/30 mins i tried to ring hotel no answer i tried about 20 times by now i was so upset and wanted to go home.i found a place to park & walked to the hotel. The lady/owner was lovely explained how to get to carpark. SO my suggestion is for that to be on the booking forms.my room was amazing it was spotless bed so comfortable....
”The parking lot needs repaving!!! It is horrendous. For reals. The exterior is a bit shabby. The lobby is spectacular. The room was big and comfy. Please remove all carpet; it is a disgusting health hazzard. Otherwise, room interior and WC was very pleasent. There is a kettle and tea/coffee. Pool was cute. Jacuzzi nice. Lovely atrium. Staff nvery nice. Had a bit of a problem with food services woman who didn't know we had already paid. It is right across the street from the beach. Restaurants...
