”This property was an unexpected gem! The property was well priced ,finishes ,were immaculate , The property is very clean .The layout of the room even allowed for a separate seating area just outside our bedroom. This property had no TV, but was not missed because of the level of Wi-Fi available. The house is in a country setting, so of course convenience to amenities such as shopping or food should not be considered. ”This is a fairly new property and this is reflected in the modern decor, and clean & smart set up. No staff on site but arrangements communicated beforehand in terms of property access and room key collection were faultless. Parking on site so no issues with proximity. We did not have breakfast (book and pay separately if required). River runs behind the property so soothing sound of running (nay rushing) water throughout. Only issue was the green light (fire regs ?) meant the room was not dark...

”Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked. Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms.”

”Brae Lea is far more than one would expect. The location is a short walk to the Ferry Terminal at Lochboisdale - yet driving from the north, you feel as if you’re nestled in the foothills of a mountain (because you are). Rupert is an outstanding host, and he doubles as a 5-Star concierge. He helped us sort travel and touring arrangements as well as made breakfast and suggested dinner options. The Brae Lea accommodations are also top drawer. Clean - efficient - spacious - inviting. Full marks...
