”This is a basic, no-frills old property that has aged well. The rooms are plain, and nothing but coffee in the office for breakfast. I am a traveler who looks for a clean place to sleep and shower; the frills don't matter. This fits the bill for someone who would rather spend their money on other things than frills in a room they will sleep in and be gone from in 12 hours. In cities, cheap hotels attract an element to stay away from, but that type is not touring the back roads of West Virginia.”

”Great unit for 2 people. Pictures and descriptions of property is accurate. Host is very responsive. Loved being able to get into unit on arrival and not having to wait till 5pm or after to access unit. Great location. Unit is very clean with well stocked kitchen. Would stay in this unit again.”

”I stayed at probably 15 or 20 different spots in Mount Lodge and this is arguably one of the nicer units. Tastefully updated. Just the right amount of stuff there too. Not too cluttered. Some space for food was appreciated. My only knock on this residence is that the beds are not queens, they’re full-size beds. ”
