”Nice room and very quiet.”

”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located in a cute small town. There is a good car park and the hotelarea is beautiful. The room was OK size, but could use an update. The pub was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful :)”

”Room 7 extractor fan not working. Both windows can’t be propped open. No mirror over desk so hairdryer cannot be plugged in near a mirror. Shower floods bathroom floor. All staff tried hard but were overstretched. At breakfast many things were only available if asked for. Evening meals not good value for money. This is not a 4 star hotel. ”

”The hotel was really lovely, but could have been even better if the tables in library room were cleared to allow guests to use them. We put cups etc from our table onto one which had not been cleared and despite staff bringing food and drinks, they ignored the mess for over an hour until another guest asked for the table to be cleared. Staff should never walk past dirty tables.”

”Parking is first come first served. We had no issue. We did go around twice as we missed the entrance. Room was clean and comfortable. We would have liked a firmer mattress. Loved the wonky bits of the building. Breakfast was lovely. Good choice of everything and we asked if we wanted more. Great atmosphere in the bar, seems popular with locals. All staff were very friendly and chatty. ”

”Room was immaculate and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we felt the quality of the food didn’t reflect the price. We paid around £100 for an evening meal which included two mains, a shared Camembert to start, and two drinks, but we didn’t feel the quality of the food justified the price tag. The meal itself was quite bland and lacked imagination. The sauce with the main was overly salty, and the bread was extremely dry, as though it had been left...

The carpet was dusty (or at least not cleaned/vacuum cleaned) since the previous customer, nor was it cleaned between our 2 nights stay.
