”Friendly, attentive and helpful staff in all areas - restaurant, bar, reception and cleaning. Superior room was large, well furnished and clean - bed was quite firm. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of options and personal requests catered for. Evening menu with good selection of food of a high standard at reasonable price. Car parking is very tight and often limited when busy, but there is other parking within a few mnutes walk of the hotel. Overall a great place that would return to...

”Lovely pub/restaurant with an accommodation. Room was small, comfortable and quiet. Tea/coffee in room. Freshly cooked full English breakfast was really nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor areas for when the sun shines. Plenty of room to park. When we stayed the restaurant was very busy and fully booked, so recommend booking in advance to secure a table. Would happily stay here again.”

”Enjoyed 2 nights here and love the character of the building and the romantic double room was lovely and warm on what was a very cold evening! Staff really helpful and friendly, easy free parking and in 15 mins we were in town by foot. There’s a lovely rum Bar 5 mins away too (altho a small bar onsite too!) and restaurants within 10 Mins if need. Most 15 mins. I like the fact you don’t have to pay for a cooked breakfast if you don’t want it and just continental. Couple of things i could nit...
