”This is the rare 5-star B&B that actually earns its rating. The house is a beautiful, art filled home where attention is paid to every detail. The host and hostess are lovely and their entire focus is on making their guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. I am actually hard to please, so this is truly a rave review. Many thanks to Olivia and Michael.”

”Our stay was excellent, room was decorated beautifully in a vintage eclectic style and very spotlessly clean. Great position, walking distance to town, old town and beach. Lovely food in pub and great 50's band. We would definitely stay here again snd highly recommend it. The perfect comfortable stay.”
”Great stay in Hastings. Hotel was clean and compact with a fridge in the room and sea view. Stayed here with our dog free of charge which was a really lovely bonus. Would 100% return.
Only real issue was no parking which we were aware of but plenty of paid car parks close by. But travelling by train is easy too as the hotel is only 7 minutes walk with frequent taxis. ”

”I booked this hotel for couple nights and was very pleased with it. I've been in better hotels in my life but for the price I payed for my nights in Lansdowne it was worth it. Location of the hotel is excellent as it is right next to the beach (which can make lot of noise during windy times) and in less than a minute walk from grocery shop and Hastins' centre. Appearance of the hotel is decent compared to Finnish standards but rooms are very tidy and cozy. My bed was very shoft, maybe too soft...

”The hotel was going through a external facelift...from the completed section it will look super when it's all done. The interior is historic and very attractive. Our room was massive and had a marvellous sea view. Very clean and comfortable.”

”Lovely friendly staff, clean and tidy premises, scrumptious breakfast. Stayed two nights, fantastic value and would definitely go back. Just a 10 minute walk to the seafront too, which was a bonus.”

”The whole place is a lovely old 1900's building. Lots of memorabilia. We had a small room which was very clean and cosy. Food was excellent. Staff very attentive. Would recommend staying here.”
