”My husband and I brought our two mini schnauzers with us on vacation to this perfect place!!! We were so comfortable at the Scooby Shack with our girls!! It was very peaceful and this beautiful place literally had everything we needed! Communication with the host was always great, and we no issues whatsoever with our stay!! We truly had the best vacation here and are so thankful to have found this place!! The walk to the beach was an easy 3-4 minute walk, and we so appreciated the chairs there...

A few comments - The house was as advertised minus a couple of cosmetic issues needing repair during our stay, but these were clearly communicated and we were not inconvenienced by this. ”Unit well stocked for our needs. Clean, comfy beds, quality furnishings. I do wish master bath had a safety bar in it or grippers on the floor. Loved having the elevator. The security alarm system, in a locked closet on master floor, faulted and started beeping every 10 seconds at 3 am which ruined my sleep that night. The rental company had someone there by 9 am to remedy this. Otherwise, we loved it.”

”I stay in a lot of different places on different islands around North Carolina. This place was awesome. It has everything you need and the washer and dryer is very convenient so you don’t have to pack a lot of stuff. The downstairs is nice for game night. I brought my dog and he loved the beach. My nine-year-old had a lot of fun. The beach is close. I will return next year and book for even longer.”

”We had a great time! Property is exactly as described, very quiet and peaceful. The host was fantastic and extremely quick to respond to any questions I had!! Beautiful side view of the ocean! It is a 15 min drive to restaurants and other stores so if you want to be closer than that, not the place for you. The only negative I had was during high tide you cannot walk out from the building to the ocean, you have to use a public access which is a little walk. We had chairs and other belongings...
