”Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.”

”Aways stay here, my go to place when in area”

”Location was convenient for us but the room was noisy with music playing until after 11pm on both nights. Strange smell in the room and no reading lights or fridge.”

”Absolutely beautiful place will definitely stay there again”

”The room was gorgeous and spotless, which made it such a shame that we didn’t sleep. There was a loud, continuous noise through the night, possibly from a generator, and it kept me awake. I was exhausted the next day. Parking was a little difficult, and the surrounding area felt quite run down. We didn’t see any staff, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The room itself was lovely; unfortunately, the noise really affected our stay.”

”Room i was in had a velux window with a blind that wasnt blackout so let in all sunlight, then around 2-3 am the radiator in the bathroom made a loud noise to which the guy on reception knew about and it was a running issue all morning”

”The staff are great but according to the locals OYO have ruined the place and dont care. Which is a shame as the staff all try so hard without support.”

”We stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for my 50th birthday get together. The hosts really have thought of everything. Cold sitting outside? The hosts have provided blankets, towels for the hot tub are stacked in the boot room nearest to the hot tub. Children attending are fantastically catered for with a range of indoor and outdoor games (we packed some but didn't need them). Holiday reads are neatly stacked if you forget your book, there's a doll's house for younger children. Outside there is a...

”The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially when I couldn't open the key cabinet. Dinner was quite excellent and reasonably priced. Room was larger than expected but TV reception was patchy and screen kept freezing perhaps due to poor Wi-Fi reception. One thing to remember, they do not have allocated parking - whilst there is a large car park behind it is £2 for 2 hours and £6 for a day but keep in mind the gates are shut from10pm to 8am which is unhelpful when you need to leave...

”Excellent accommodation and food at the Pub was also very good.”

”It had everything we needed for a one nights stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was the switch for the heating as we did need to take the chill off now it’s getting cooler. Despite the fire alarm going off and no one knowing what to do at 5am we had a pleasant stay”

”Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though ”

”The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.”

”Hotelli oli suht.ok. Kokemusta pilasi voimakas tupakan tuoksu aavuttomassa huoneessa”

”Very clean quaint cottage. Beautiful! ”
