”V disappointing stay. Booked a superior room, which looked very nice on Expedia. Unfortunately our room looked nothing like the pictures online, the decor was very tired especially the bathroom which had paint flaking off the walls. Further, the room was very hot and with the need to open windows, very noisy due to the road in front of the hotel. ”Nice room, with excellent bathroom. The outside needs tidying up and some painting, so we were initially concerned when we arrived, but the rooms were fine. Nice quiet location too. The cafe is shut due to staff illness, looks like has been for a while but the Two Flags cafe a mile down the road is excellent for all day breakfasts, especially if you like motorbikes.”

”The property overall was disgustingly dirty !! It needs to be completely gutted and renovated. Nail/toe nail clippings on the sofa bed. All the material on the sofa cushions was tourn and ripped. The pull out mattress also had rips in it. Carpet was thick with animal hair , bed had long clumps of human hair on. Kettle was rusty inside. Spiders everywhere, stained bath and toilet seat. Furniture in the room was falling apart. The horrific smell of animals started at reception and carried on...
