”Checked in Friday night 6/19. Room was very nice. We put our cooler stuff in the fridge. Saturday morning my wife made a cup of coffee in the kitchenette. We stayed in a suite and there was a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and one cup coffee maker. She tried to make another cup of coffee and apparently a fuse blew to the kitchenette. ”The hotel appears to be understaffed. The elevator was out of order for several hours when I arrived, and the desk clerk was attempting to fix it by himself. The hotel is not up to the same standard as other La Quintas in cleanliness and renovations. For example, common area carpets appeared old and stained. Also, this is the first La Quinta I've stayed at that had an extra charge for having a dog. One of the reasons I stay at La Quintas is that this is usually free. The charge was only $25, but...
