Definitely it is one of our best vacation spot from many places we visited. No humidity, no mosquitoes, good service and good food. Staff was very friendly, helpful and trying to please in every turn. The beach is clean and sandy. The sea is slightly cool (it was early April) when you enter but very nice afterwards. The weather was between 76 -82 around the clock! Some areas of the building are showing their ages. But still well maintained. The food was plenty and very tasty. Attention to details was very noticeable. How can you beat such a place 🙏🐟👋🥰 We are planning to come again for sure!👍👍👍👍🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Ich wurde noch nie so gut behandelt als Allergiker. Jeden Abend wurde mir das Buffet erklärt und auf Wunsch spezielle Gerichte zubereitet. Auch ansonsten unglaublich professionelles und liebevoll freundschaftliches Personal, zu dem wir hoffentlich den Kontakt behalten können. Speziell hervorheben möchten wir einige Personen: Chefkoch Rafik Ali Alle weiteren Chefkochs Chef de Service Barman Ahmed Rashad Lifeguard Ahmed Sayed Barbary Mohammed Fathiy vom Team Housekeeping Dies sind nicht weniger als Freunde für uns nach nur einer Woche, wir wurden noch selten so gut behandelt. Auch sonst bekommt man von allen Angestellten immer ein Lächeln und freundliche Worte. Wann immer es Reklamationen von anderen Gästen gab, hatten wir das Gefühl, dass eher der Gast das Problem ist. Die Angestellten sind super geschult und lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab! Vielen Dank für diese Erfahrung. Bitte dem Hotel mitteilen.

The setting is magical. The hotel looks tired and needs refreshing. Management staff and housekeeping were excellent Restaurants staff, especially at breakfast, were not so good. They are under the impression that good service is being obsequious when they are actually ineffective.

I stayed in Sheraton Soma Bay 6 years ago and I was not impressed with the food and buffet. But this time its a totally different story. The buffet was fantastic and the service was amazing . Special thanks to the room attended Mohamed . Special thank you for Yasser "restaurants manager" he answered my questions . And most importantly to assistant Manager Monssef , he was very accommodating in all our requests. Mr. Monssef went over and above and made us feel welcomed .

Un complexe assez grand mais avec beaucoup d'espaces. Hors saison tres agréable, peut-être chargé en saison. Situé dans une zone très securisée, de jour comme de nuit, l'accès à la zone de Soma Bay est fermé par des gardes. Notre chambre était agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire (literie excellente) peut-être un peu "old school" mais rien à redire. L'accès à la plage est immédiat et 5 minutes de marche permettent de rejoindre "the jetty" et de faire du snorkeling à l'intérieur du lagon ou juste à son bord extérieur sans accompagnement. Coraux et poissons variés et magnifiques, eau très claire. Côté nourriture, pour un français ça mérite encore un peu de progrès mais on trouve toujours quelque chose à manger de local et bon. Animation disponible mais non utilisée et pas gênante. En bref, un super lieu pour un séjour calme et reposant.

Zu Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir uns mehrmals über Wassereinbruch in unserem Zimmer beschwert. Nach der vierten Rückmeldung konnten wir für die letzten zwei Nächte in ein anderes Zimmer umziehen. Es wurde uns sogar eine Suite zur Verfügung gestellt, was sehr nett war. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Personal, Essen, Anlage und Umgebung waren super. Gewünscht hätten wir uns, dass man unser Anliegen, mit dem Wasser im Zimmer, schon bei der ersten Rückmeldung ernst genommen hätte. Lediglich der Umzug in ein anderes Standard Zimmer hätte uns schon gereicht. Vielen Dank auch für die Rückmeldung auf mein letztes Feedback, was ich über ebookers.ch abgegeben habe. Wir hatten einen super Urlaub. Danke

I had a great experience about this hotel 3 years ago when I stayed there am not sure if management changed?! I recommended the hotel to my niece that was celebrating her honeymoon she just got married two weeks ago and that was my gift for her. I live in US and used my credit card for the payment I could easy dispute the charges however it is not my way. Unfortunately she complained about her stay and quality of the food even she complained to front desk who couldn’t help or at least offer to upgrade her room as kind of compensation . It is basic customer service. I thought it is better to write directly to the hotel instead of leaving bad reviews on trip advisor…etc looking forward to hear from the management

The design of the hotel is unique, in the form of a beautiful pharaonic temple, with a private beach. Hotel staff are very helpful and always smiling. Restaurant Abidos serves delicious meals. you have to book the All inclusive option as there aren't many option outside the hotel. The hotel was crowded with many local guests, and probably selling its rooms cheaper by far to accommodate employees of companies or unions, which is not an advantage at all for the rest of the guests coming from outside Egypt.

Not a 5 star!
The hotel is old yet clean. The rooms are basic with no toiletries except for shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. The hotel is on z bay, the beach is beautiful and there are some corals nearby for snorkeling We were on half board basis. The open buffet breakfast was very good, dinner was quite bad as the food was mostly tasteless. All in all, not a 5 star hotel, maybe 3.5 at the most. Sheraton needs to do some major work if they want to sell this as a 5 star hotel.

Plage magnifique ainsi que l'aménagement de la pisine et autour de la piscine. Bons buffets. Très bruyant le soir lors des 6 jours de séminaire (musique très forte et certains participants sont restés dans le jardin jusqu'à 3h. du matin en criant, rigolant ou parlant très fort entre eux ... )

The architecture of the hotel is stunning, it adds to the feeling of exclusivity when staying in the hotel. The facilities are well kept and clean. One of the advantages is advantage is the proximity to the jetty that leads to a coral reef. There are several criticisms. Although there is plenty of staff in the restaurant, very few of them seem to speak English, German or Russian. One more criticism is regarding an entertainment program, which could be drastically improved. The only show (a folk show) that was planned took place in a cafe that was difficult to find.

Great location, beach and views, stunning reef nearby. Friendly staff. But: the hotel is getting seriously run-down, and seems to cater for families and groups. Not representative for a Sheraton, as it lacks the premium-feeling. Worst was the Spa, with rather annoying sales people, continuously going around the beach, and overselling their product. We booked 2 massages, the first was good, but for the 2nd, once they knew was our last, the staff was desinterested and gave a poor quality. Combined with prices on European level it gave me a bad taste in my mouth, again not fitting the premium of Sheraton. But, we had a very nice holiday, so I do not want to complain too much...
