”We loved our stay at this hotel! The rooms were quaint and well made up. There was even a bathtub in our room, which was a game changer! We also really enjoyed dining at the property's pub, and the food was amazing! Very much enjoyed the fish and chips and the lamb special they were serving. The location is perfect if you're exploring the surrounding Cotswolds towns and don't want to stay in the center of the action. We would definitely return to this hotel when we come back to the Cotswolds in...

”The hotel was beautiful and historical, the service was super friendly and the food was great! The spacious room was decorated in very nice and modern style, but... The carpet was dusty (or at least not cleaned/vacuum cleaned) since the previous customer, nor was it cleaned between our 2 nights stay. ”Very nice downstairs room, including a very cool ceiling and a cozy wonderful warm atmosphere. The room was smaller than we expected, including the toilet, where it was hard to maneuver between the toilet and the sink. However, we managed just fine and we thought it was very good value for the price. Breakfast was wonderful!”

”Very pleasant experience. Clean modern room and helpful staff. Cosy restaurant with good drinks. Breakfast is freshly prepared according to your choise, a bit heavy though. Rooms are located in a separate building near a big road so we heard a little bit of noise from the traffic.”

”Due to age of building plus isolation it had some unique qualities but the staff were all lovely and the stay was enjoyable.”
