This is a rural wine country property on a gravel road in the Somerset foothills of El Dorado County — quiet, private, and surrounded by nature. Dozens of wineries and tasting rooms are within a short drive along the Fairplay and Somerset wine corridor.

Apple Hill`s farms and bakeries are about 20 minutes north. Placerville`s historic downtown is roughly 30 minutes away. South Lake Tahoe is about 1.5 hours east.

A car is essential — Ant Hill Road is a gravel road off the main road. Plenty of parking at the property.

Parties: No parties or events of any kind.

Quiet Hours: Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Guests: Maximum 4. Please book with your full guest count.

Smoking: No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the home.

Cleaning/Checkout: Checkout is 11:00 am; no late checkout. We do a thorough cleaning after each guest`s stay. Before leaving: dishes in the sink, used towels gathered, trash and recycling in the indoor bins, lights and AC/heat off, door locked.

Lost Items: Please do not forget anything in the home. We cannot package and ship things that are left behind.

Parking: Please park your car next to or in front of the garage. No parking in the garage.

Food Items: Please refrain from disposing of food in the garbage disposal.

Heating/AC: Keep all 3 HVAC units on the same setting (e.g. auto) so they work correctly.

Utilities: We kindly ask that you switch off lights and turn off the AC/heater when not in the home.

Security Lock: The August smart lock will automatically lock after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Pets: Pets welcome, up to 2. Pet fee is charged at booking. Please keep pets off furniture and pick up after them.
