Great area but property needs some TLC
Cosy cottage? This is a 3 Bedroomed, large house with the owner living next door. It is very comfortable, especially the downstairs. Its in a lovely area for walks etc.- we took our bikes and had a lovely time seeing some small villages around and a great Pub,10 minutes walk away. The kitchen is very large and well equipped for all your needs, love the old range (which is for show only). Double Glazed through out with it seems wooden frames, they look really nice and suit the property. The large lounge has a massive log burner, we didn't use it but I bet that would keep you warm in the cold winters, didn't see much wood though but that maybe because its still Summer. It is the upstairs that lets this Cottage down, though. There are 2 good sized Bedrooms with a Bathroom, with a very powerful Shower. There is a massive Master Bedroom, with an Ensuite Bathroom (Bath only). The Mattress on the Bed in the Master Bedroom, needs replacing as the springs have seen better days - the other beds could do with updating too. and the Furniture looks old and tired. Because all the floors are wooden, they creak a lot, especially in the Master Room - perhaps by having some Rugs on the Floors, it would make it less noisy and more homely. The Garden was lovely with plenty of space, but again could do with some TLC. The Patio was covered in weeds and the Wooden Furniture, all needs replacing.
Having said all this, we enjoyed our stay and it is very quiet in a lovely location.
