”Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! ”The location is the key, but overall expensive for the price. When cruise ships are gone Roseau gets extremely quiet and you would do better somewhere else. For example, the nice hotel bar was closed.”

The beach is not one to spend a lot of time on, as it has a lot of seaweed and is home to the turtle breeding program, but the pool is great for a swim.
