”Convenient location across from the exit of the pyramid of Giza, and a 5 minute walk from the ticket booth/entrance of the pyramids. Mostafa makes a conscious effort to make customers comfortable, starting with a welcome drink on the rooftop and accommodative with luggage storage. The only con is the walls are thin, so you can hear people in the hallways.”

”Sahara Pyramids Inn is a 3-minute walk to the Pyramid Complex. This is an unbelievable benefit. The hotel itself is clean and safe and staffed wonderfully. Breakfast on the rooftop is wonderful. Be aware: it’s in a poor neighborhood. Just be careful. Everyone we met and/or spoke with was kind and good.”

But be aware: there are plenty of camels and horses parked in this area surrounding the hotel--lets just say walking was like tiptoe-ing around animal droppings...and there will be numerous on the ground. I wanted to go up the rooftop to see the Giza pyramids view, but I cannot get past the smell of the aformentioned droppings. Just wanted to let you know my experience. ”I changed our accommodation to this one based on negative reviews of another (cheaper) place nearby. The price-quality of this one was marvelous. The apartment is very clean and beautiful and met our Western standards, good and clean beds and toilet and shower with hot water etc. The host, Khaled and his brother and cousin were very hospitable and helpful.
