Secluded and tranquil, Jenny Wren is a romantic countryside retreat for one or two, part of Mill Cross Retreats—a little place in a big world, where we invite you to step off, slow down, and truly recharge. We regret is is not big enough for children or pets.

Tucked away in a peaceful village, we’re just 10 minutes from Totnes, Dartington, and 5 minutes from A38, so you can easily escape from London, Bristol, Cornwall, Dorset or Somerset for a restorative countryside break.

We’re committed to sustainability, organic living, and the little touches that make your stay special. Guests consistently comment on the thoughtful design and quality—just bring a bag and enjoy a cosy, luxurious escape.

Jenny Wren is our beautiful, thoughtfully designed and built by us 18’ shepherd’s hut, carefully designed with:

A Hobbit woodburner (logs provided)

A comfy sofa and hand-built, well-equipped kitchen (with retro fridge)

A small double bed with a luxurious mattress, Devon wool duvet, feather & down pillows, and cotton bedding

Super well insulated and cosy year-round, ideal for winter snuggles by the fire
