”We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. ”

"Very nice hotel. Staff was extremely nice and friendly. Not in a way when you visit a luxury 5-star hotel, where you see the extremely polite, but in many cases face friendliness. This hotel really has genuinely friendly staff, who really want you to enjoy the stay. I had a room on the top floor, facing to the sea. There was a great view, and they even had binoculars by the window so that you could see the ships sailing. Breakfast was very good, although the buffet was limited. I took the toast with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and that was very good."
