”Everything worked well. Great location. Parking is so convenient to the rooms. Setting is secluded. Staff were very helpful. A few signs of wear, like a few spots on the carpet and a crack in the sink basin, did not detract from function or cleanliness.”

”Clean, safe, with a comfortable bed. The room was a bit shabby and in need of updating, but not objectionable. It smelled of cleaning products. The color scheme was not to my taste, but it was fine as I spent just one night.”

”We only stopped for the night, but the property offered many amenities that our group would have enjoyed (sand volleyball, pool, fire pit, etc). The room was spacious and we enjoyed the laidback atmosphere.”

”It is situated next to the Wood River which was unexpected and lovely( wish we brought our fishing rods) . It is located across from a restaurant tavern which was V convenient!”

”I'm a stickler about a clean environment. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of my room. It's the most important thing to me while staying away from home. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I have is that a sign with an arrow and the word ice should be posted at the laundry room. I had a hard time finding the ice machine.”

”The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. ”

”The exercise room was below standard. Very small, with three machines. There was No exercise bench, so I had to workout on the floor. No towels available until I asked for some at the front desk. A water cooler, but no water jug in it. The weights were very old and rusty. No 5 or 10 lb, and only one 15 lb. The weight rack was very old and rust also.”

”Really nice cottage and beautiful grounds including the pool. It was great to be able yo walk over to the Winery next door for food & drinks. Like that it is away from the hustle of the waterfront but easy to go into the heart of Newport when we wanted. Would stay here again when returning to Newport.”

”Lots of construction happening but obviously not the hotel’s fault. I was a little sad there was that noise as we were trying to enjoy the roof top deck. Rooms are small but very clean.”
