Stay away! Major Renovation needed.

This property is in need of a complete renovation. The entire condo is disgusting, unclean, has broken furniture, holes in walls, broken shower parts/doors, unpatched places where towel racks used to be, mold and rust around air vents, blinds not even attached, but broken and leaning against window, kitchen drawers inoperable, grout missing on counter and floors, tiles broken on floors and baseboards, stained couches, broken coffee table, knives with the tops broken, a wobbly microwave, a broken dishwasher, bugs…the list goes on. We have been staying at Sea Vista for over 10 years, rotating between a couple of condos based on availability, and unfortunately due to a last minute booking were left with this as an only option for a larger family (multiple units rented) vacation. This is by far the worst condo we have ever seen on this property. It should not be priced in line with the modern units that have been updated. When we arrived, there was a pile of unfolded towels and wash cloths on the bed and sheets/pillows not put on, with a load of laundry still in the dryer. I had to do this myself. I would absolutely not recommend this condo, rent any other unit! If you stay here, you will feel greatly taken advantage of.

Decent place, but I would look elsewhere

I think the listing is very misleading. I would not describe this property as newly updated. The unit was dated and many small things not working (no TP holder and one light out in primary bathroom, lights out over dining table, door blinds falling off, etc. many little things throughout the condo). The patio is not “large.” It’s a small concrete pad with two plastic chairs. Good for a beer and I guess you could eat your meal out of your lap as the listing suggested. I booked another condo in the same complex for only slightly more money and it was much better and same size, better view, and bigger rooms. It was fine for the weekend, but I do not believe the condo was worth the price. I would spend my money elsewhere. The grounds were nice and the pools were very warm which was good.

Horrible

Electric was off when we got there to check in. Property manager didn’t not pay the bill obviously. Waited with infants for nearly 9 hours before we had power finally turn on. The managers assistant didn’t really seem to care. The cleanliness wasn’t done very well. Just a horrible experience and unprofessional for traveling 11 hours to a condo with no electricity and no way to cook for children. We had to just wait till they paid the bill for electricity.

Family Trip

It was a beautiful location. There were not any wash rags or dish rags in our condo, 2 hand towels and 5 body towels. When you have 6 people, this is not sufficient. The one bathroom was missing the soap dispenser in shower and all the towel hangers were broke. Light fixtures were broke with exposed wirings. Broken drawer and missing piece of wood on cupboard. Rooms and bathroom were very large. We got 5 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel and 4 laundry pods. Definitely not enough for a weeks stay, so had to call to get more, which wasn’t a big deal. They responded quickly. Very close to the beach access and pool access.

Great location but a bit dank inside

Loved the location on the island and it was so nice to walk out the unit's patio door directly to the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm, very clean, and a real treat to enjoy! Only downside was the unit seemed dark and closed up with one of the bedroom doors not working, the other bedroom with a door very difficult to slide, and the master bedroom didn't have a door at all, just floor to ceiling windows so no fresh air but great for the view. When we arrived the unit was musty and this negatively impacted breathing then and when closed up. Perhaps it was caused by the unit not being used for weeks prior.to our arrival, not sure, but the unit was nice and clean upon our arrival. FYI, no beach towels supplied, a total of 8 bath towels and 2 hand towels with only one kitchen towel. It was nice to have dish soap and 4 laundry soaps for our use, along with shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel in both showers. The patio was great to enjoy both sun and shade with 4 nice chairs for resting and reading. Overall, well worth the value.

Disappointed

This condo was not as was advertised. It was advertised as newly renovated but that was not the case! The garbage disposal was broken with garbage left by previous renter. No dishwasher. Both bathroom showers had mold in tile grout. Bare light bulbs in ceiling fan in one bedroom. Window and door coverings in several rooms not operable. Pictures taken and shared with management.. The positive was the location to beach.... It was perfect..

Lovely beach vacation!

The location of this condo was optimal for our family, being on the ground floor with a patio convenient to the beach. Had all the essentials. Hanging towel racks in the bathrooms would be nice. Strange that they are absent. Overall loved Sea Vista and the easy access to private beach.

Positives: vicinity to the beach, size of bedrooms, and security of property Negatives: very small living (den) space, tiny kitchen (2 people can hardly fit), no remote control for Master bedroom TV, condition of rooms look worn, no dishwasher, indoor fumes from dryer, no work out center.

Very equipped place. I will definitely come back.

I was very pleased by staying in this place. It had everything I needed to enjoy my vacation. I will highly recommended to anyone. If I needed something I just had to make a phone call and ask for it and I'll have it right away. Thanks for everything!!! I will definitely stay in this place again.

Great beach access

We had a great time at this place. It was very easy to check-in and had no problems at all. The complex is used to visitors so they were helpful. We weren't able to access the place until about 4pm the first day, so think about that when you are planning your arrival. The place had great beach access. They also had a canopy, chairs and stuff for you to use on the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed, table was a good size to fit all 7 of us. We had a great time.
