”We had fallen in love with Artist Residence in Brighton so we wanted to stay in this fab hotel in Penzance, too. We stayed in the newest add to the hotel rooms, the cottage. Wow! If you want a unique country style cottage just for you and your family or friends, then this is your choice. ”The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!”

”An L-shaped single room with a shower and kettle corner. Basic but cheap and cheerful , warmed up room made the welcome even warmer. A cooked breakfast served by the friendly owners set you up for the day. ”

”Whilst the Expedia price on this hotel was lower than the hotels website, the general condition of the room and bar was tired and dated. The shower did not work correctly, room light kept flickering on and off when switched on. It was convenient for a party i was attending but i would not return. ”

”Very clean and well equipped. Nice area, close to other cities and beaches in Cornwall. The swimming pool was advertised as 24-hour full access but in reality was open only from 10am to 6pm and needed to book every day for each session. The private spa tub was advertised but missing. ”

”Bearing in mind the time of year (Sept) weather was poor so heating inside the piggery was inadequate to heat the internal fabric of the whole unit. ”This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well...
