”The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold.”

”Great hotel, excellent location. The bedroom was large enough to accommodate the 3 of us and the bathroom was huge too. Bedroom was clean with coffee, tea, water and biscuits as a nice touch.
Staff were friendly and very helpful on more than one occasion.
Breakfast was amazing, huge choice and delicious.
Location was excellent, right on the high street and 30 seconds to the beach. Parking was also available on site and EV chargers.
My only issue was the the pool and sauna were closed...

”Our family had a wonderful time at West Bay staying at 2 Driftwood. The accommodation was clean, warm and situated in the heart of the town. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and the jetty. It is such a pretty place, the view along the beach is stunning and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. I recommend staying here.”

”We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short tour of the Jurassic Coast. The location is spectacular and you can almost step out onto the beach. There is a lovely bay window which you can sit in and watch the world go by listening to the sound of the waves. If only this had been a nice padded seat, I might not have wanted to leave. Parking is a bit of a problem in Lyme Regis but there was no noise from the restaurants below, which I thought might be a problem”

”The property was as in pictures apart from the entrance, which was around the back of the property on an uneven surface and up a steep metal wet staircase. Would suggest slated blinds as the sun makes the property very hot especially at the velux window above the sink.
Overall, a pleasant stay in a lovely sea side town. ”
