Independent – South Whidbey Island State Park, Washington

”We stayed there last year and loved it. Wanted to return for the boat festival and also loved that it was within walking distance so we didn’t need to worry about parking etc. We love the views and everything about the hotel. ”

”Friendly staff, clean room. Easy check in (even though we checked in at 10:30pm). Outside and lot are in average shape. Walls of rooms are somewhat thin. Could hear someone's dog barking occasionally, but it wasn't too bad. For price point and location it was a good stay.”

”The place was a lovely historic castle, very beautiful and nicely restored. The room was a bit small but really nice, the bathroom was huge and looked brand new. If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...
