”This is a very old Inn with oak beams and uneven floors. The facilities were good however the room was unbearably hot. Even though we had 2 fans on we were just covered in sweat as soon as we came out of the shower. It was impossible to sleep.”

”The cost for the rooms, dinner and drinks was very expensive for what it was.
The bedroom I stayed in had a broken blind which let the light in, the bedside lamp was also broken, the Manager was grumpy, but two very nice waitresses.
Otherwise not to be recommended at that price.”

”The room itself (room 1 deluxe) is well designed & sympathetically decorated to the age of the building giving a feeling of opulence meets modern. The toilet cisterns take ages to refill but I suspect this is due to the age of the plumbing! The bed is very comfy.
The downside to the room is that in the unprecedented heat there was inadequate little fan which meant leaving the french doors open during the night. This faced a main junction so traffic noise was an issue. The building itself is old...
