This family-friendly ideal location in South Yarmouth is waiting for you at this absolutely charming, newly renovated 3 bedroom, 3 full bath house - walking distance to Nantucket sound beaches! The original “Tinkertown Cottage”, this house is truly part of South Yarmouth history, and is the perfect combination of quintessential Cape Cod charm and beautiful new updates including brand new hardwood floors throughout, updated bathrooms, and new kitchen counters. Walking distance to the iconic Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House and so many other attractions like mini-golf, the Pirate Museum, and much more!

The cozy and comfortable one-floor layout includes a front living room, master with ensuite master bath, kitchen/dining area, center family room, two additional bedrooms, two additional full baths, and a separate small kitchen/pantry in the back of the house (with separate entrance). Two pocket-doors can offer additional privacy between different areas!

Outside, the house has a new pebble stone driveway with ample parking, as well as multiple outdoor living spaces including a brick paver dining patio with gas grill, a stone paver lounging patio, and a beautiful large private yard, with brand new double-sized outdoor cedar shower.

The house is a few blocks in one direction to the beaches, and restaurants, mini-golf, and loads of other activities in the other direction. House has large washer/dryer, dishwasher, toasters, coffeepots, and two wall AC units.

We stayed for a weekend getaway. The accomodations were perfectly situated amongst all the activities we were interested in, as well as the down time we needed in between. The home was in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to breath taking views of sunrise and sunset. We look forward to staying here, again, next time we vome to the cape.

My sister and I took my 81 year old Dad to visit the Cape and stayed in this wonderful home. It was great to have one story living and beautfully remodeled bathrooms with walk in showers. Everthing you need from the Ninja blender to beach chairs to the washer/dryer combo was there. Having a beach right down the street with bathrooms was awesome and there is ample parking. the yard is gorgeous! The house is immaculate and we highly recommend it to anyone. I also loved that Steve and Shelley don't have the challenging cancellation policy that we ran into with other agencies on the Cape. They are very responsive and so helpful!

I can't recommend this house enough! We had everything we needed for the beach, and for grilling some burgers, hotdog and green squash for dinner. We especially liked the cute cape cod vibe decor throughout the house, we are so happy that we found such a gem!

Wonderful house to rent! Perfect location. Easy walk to beaches and The Skipper restaurant. House itself was very accommodating. Perfect mix of old and new features. We loved it and would highly recommend!

Amazing stay!! The house was super accommodating with provided linens, toiletries and essentials, as well as games, chairs, and umbrellas. It was very clean, spacious, and lots of parking. The interior was decorated so nicely and the outdoor shower was beautiful!! The best part was the roughly 7 minute walk to the beach! We will definitely be staying here again!

July 4th Weekend 2025

First time spending the 4th of July on the cape. Lots of traffic but that was expected. 142 Seaview was adorable, cozy and roomy at the same time, big yard with corn hole and shady trees, close to beach, close to Skippers Chowder House (excellent), 3 bathrooms was key for 7 adults. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There is only 1 TV which I thought would be an issue but it wasn’t at all. We played games, puzzles, cornhole and spent time at the beach. Very nice vacation with family. Thank you to Steve for always answering my questions.

What more could you ask for?

A group of friends and I stayed at this cape house for a long weekend for a local wedding. We had such a wonderful stay at this place and experienced wonderful hospitality. The home was very clean, comfortable and charming. We loved how spacious it was and enjoyed both the front and back patios to relax in. We found the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals in between our outings and having so many rooms and bathrooms made getting ready for a wedding a breeze for all us girls. :)The location can’t be beat. We walked to the beach many times and found it so easy and quick access to get there. It is also a great location for all other local spots. Checking in was so simple and the check out instructions were very reasonable. We felt safe and comfortable our entire stay. There was plenty of parking space- we fit two cars/ two trucks easily. The host was 100% responsive, communicative, and available, although we encountered zero issues we would’ve needed him for. I encourage any visitors to book this wonderful place. I also encourage you to take a look around and appreciate all the unique decorations as I can tell they paid attention to detail and honored the cape in a way we all appreciated. Thank you Steve and Shelly for your hospitality and thank you again for leaving sunflowers as a sweet welcome to your beautiful home.

Our stay in Yarmouth

The three bedroom/three bath house in Yarmouth was just as advertised. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The two living areas were a plus, so we could spread out. The outdoor shower was great! It was only a 10 minute walk to two beaches and a third beach was just a few more minutes away. We would certainly stay there again.
