”Hotel gets very crowded with cruise passengers who all want to check out at the same time.
The hotel lifts are small and have trouble coping with the load.
When we were there one of the lifts was broken for days and no-one could get down to reception with their luggage.
There were a lot of very angry people and no staff to help.”

”Booked "dog-friendly room" (it's handy to have that description in the room information when booking as otherwise I'd ring the hotel before booking to check if dogs are ok in room we're booking, so thanks for that). Note that £30pn is charged on top of room rate for a dog. It was a premium room, so had a lounge area with tv (Disney etc) & separate bedroom area. All very clean and comfy. Keiran was very welcoming on reception and offered to book us in for breakfast. We arrived late and no food...

”Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom.
The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed.
The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower.
